Welcome.
Life is a journey most all embark on with hearts full of wonder and minds eager for discovery. Each day a new chapter unfolds, woven with threads of mystery and moments of clarity, stitching together the fabric of our existence. As we navigate through the tapestry of life, logic guides us, and laughter brightens our path, reminding us that the beauty of the journey lies not just in the destinations we reach, but in the stories, we create along the way.

Storytelling has the power to engage, influence, teach, and inspire.
.
Fundamentally a social practice, storytelling fosters intimacy and connection. It is through storytelling that we shape and scrutinize our own truths and beliefs and understand how these align with the truths and beliefs of others. My hope for Life, Logic & Laughter is to explore narratives that capture my own life experiences and attempt to express them out into the world because I believe stories don’t just entertain – they shape the way we see the world.

Nice
Whether you look at the Latin or French origin of this word, it was certainly once intended as a slur. Among its plethora of earlier meanings: foolish, careless, clumsy, ignorant, and weak -- all quite different from how we use the word today.
Words Have Their Own Stories to Tell
Have you ever thought about where words come from? Language has an amusing sense of humor when you think about it. Many of the words we use every day have the most fascinating, and surprising, etymologies (how words came to be, how their meanings have shifted over time, and used in one language to another). Let's start with these examples of curious word origins. We'll continue to explore and be amused by different words from time to time.
Sarcasm
A sarcastic remark is often unleashed on another with the intent to hurt and can be delivered with malice that cuts deep. It's no wonder given this word's origins are from the Greek verb sarkazein, literally meaning "to tear the flesh like dogs."
Clue
In Greek mythology, Theseus entered the Labrinth to kill the Minotaur. He unraveled a "clew" -- a ball of string -- to find his way back out of the maze, much as we might follow a string of "clues" to solve a mystery.
